Video is hot on social media – are you missing out?

You probably want more customers from social media so that you can actually see tangible results for your investment of time. So how do you go about enticing your potential customers?

Don’t Hide

One of the ways that I see businesses fail to capture customers is by hiding.

It is tempting to hide behind great messaging, magazine quality photos or a catchy quote.

Get Social

We tend to forget that social media is really about being SOCIAL.

One of the best ways to be social and to create rapport and know, like, and trust with your audience is by showing up with your face or your team on video in your social media!

I know, I know - you have all the reasons why you can’t. I did too! I’ve been in programs and worked with mentors who encouraged me to be on video in my social media – for a few years!

When I stopped resisting and decided to finally do it, some fun things started to happen.

My audience noticed. They engage with me on and off social media. My posts are getting more engagement and more reach.

Why video?

  • You become relatable

  • You are top of mind

  • You are seen as an “expert”

  • They get to know you, your personality and vibe

  • They start to see how YOU can help them

  • When it is time to buy, your audience will think of you rather than the other similar business that doesn’t show up on video.

Wouldn’t it be worth some discomfort if it resulted in new customers? I thought so.

Action: Be sure to watch the video below for a few tips on what to talk about on video. Then make a list of FAQ’s or things that would be helpful to your customers and create a video.
